We don't own the content you post on UPride, but we do have your permission to use or copy it however we need. We generally use it to promote projects and showcase our community. Ultimately, you're responsible for the content you post, and you're vouching to us that it's OK to use. So we do need certain licenses from you in order to perform our Services:
  • We can use your register on our platform. The User’s name or nickname, User ID, sex, date of birth, e-mail address, phone number, location, country/region of residence, shipping location, bank account, personal photograph, personal weight and height, personal biography (self-introduction), URL of websites and blogs,other social network url (Facebook /Instagram/Youtube/...account), and other relating information provided to the UPride upon the User’s membership registration. Your address book is also stored on our server in order to optimize your app experiences and help you to better connect with your friends.
  • We can use the Content you’ve submitted. You grant to us, and others acting on our behalf, the worldwide, non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, sublicensable, transferable right to use, exercise, commercialize, and exploit the copyright, publicity, trademark, and database rights with respect to your Content. In general, we use this Content to promote projects and showcase our community. The Post that the User posted or shared with the other Users through UPride’s posting function (including photographs, tagbrand, category comments, messages exchanged, search terms, browsing history, project empowered, follow or save Post/Prider/#/Culture/Brand/Community and other interactions on UPride) and other relating information.
  • When we use the Content, we can make changes, like editing or translating it. You grant us the right to edit, modify, reformat, excerpt, delete, or translate any of your Content.
  • We’re not responsible for mistakes in your Content. UPride will not be liable for any errors or omissions in any Content.
  • We can use information from third party. If the User enters UPride using an ID or account of a service provided by a third party (including but not limited to, Facebook and Twitter, other Social Network Services, and E-commerce websites, which shall be collectively referred to as “Third Party Websites”), then the information on such Third Party Websites that the User accepts can be obtained by the UPride. This includes, for example, information of friends on Facebook, the contents the User's “likes” on Facebook, friends on Twitter, and other related information.

Data Deletion

If you would like to request the deletion of your personal data, please contact our support team at [email protected]. Upon request, we will permanently delete your data from our servers within 60 days. Users can delete their accounts and all associated personal data by following the steps below:
  • Go to UProfile.
  • Choose Edit Profile.
  • Scroll to the end, enable the Deactivate Account option, and select 'Delete Account and Data.'
  • Confirm after reading our data deletion policy.
  • Alternatively, users can contact us at [support email] for assistance."

What do we use your information for?

We use the information you provide to us for the specific purposes for which you provide the information, as stated at the time of collection, and as otherwise permitted by law. The information we collect from you may be used in the following ways:
  • To operate UPride, and to provide unique services in connection with the recommendation function, customization function, and other functions on UPride (your information helps us to better respond to your individual needs).
  • To research, analyze, and prepare statistical data for the improvement and the development of new functions in UPride.
  • To improve our website and your experience and after self-service (we continually strive to improve our website offerings based on the information and feedback we receive from you).
  • To improve User service (your information helps us to more effectively respond to your User service requests and support needs).
  • To process transactions, including executing your payments and delivering the products or services in empower feature. To administer various campaigns, prize giveaways, contests, special promotion, survey, activity or other site feature.
  • To deliver updated information and newsletters regarding UPride, and to deliver various information regarding other related services that are provided by UPride.
  • To send periodic emails. The email address you provide for order processing, may be used to send you important information and updates pertaining to your order, in addition to receiving occasional UPride news, updates, related product or service information, etc.
  • To authenticate the User and to automatically display the registered information of the authenticated User on various screens.
  • To practice rights or perform obligations in accordance with contracts, laws, and regulations.

Your Rights

You always have to right to turn on or turn off our recommendation function.

Protect your information

  • You are responsible for your own account safety and security on our Platform.
  • That said, we do implement a variety of security measures including offering the use of a secure server. All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our Payment gateway providers database only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. After a transaction, your private information (credit cards, social security numbers, financials, etc.) will not be stored on our servers.
  • We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personal information. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, executing payments, delivering purchased products or services, sending you information or updates or otherwise servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others rights, property, or safety. However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.
