the right.
How to edit a project after launching?
While a project is live on UPride, the following can be edited:
-
Project's Culture
-
Project title and description, cover photo
-
Adding new rewards (the old one will be fixed)
However, the following cannot be edited after a project has
launched:
-
Funding goal
-

-
Information in the Payment tab, including your bank account and
verified identity.
What should I consider when setting my Fund Goal?
-
Once you launch your Project, you can not change your Fund Goal
or end date .
-
Your Fund Goal should include the amount you need to complete
your Project. It should be considered:
-
Cost of material, resource,...
-
Payment for team
-
Shipping cost for reward
-
Tax Fee (as goverment law)
-
Other cost
-
We recommend publicizing and updating these costs. Transparency
will help you to gain more funds from Priders.
-
Should not set the goal higher than the original estimated cost,
if your Project could not reach its funding goals, you will not
receive any funds.
Why do I have to create roles in a Project Team?
-
Our Empower Platform aims to help Priders create Project for
Community activities and make new friends all over the world.
Creativity will go into life together with team members who
have the same Culture Pride.
-
We provide you with a tool to plan & describe roles within a
team, so other Priders can find and join a Project with you.
-
For Example, if you want to do a "30 days Vintage Shotting in
Dalat" Project. You will need to create some roles, such as
creators, photographers, editors, models, etc.
-
Moreover, creating a professional & reputation Project Team
will be easily funded by Priders or Brand.
How to invite my friend to Project Team?
-
When you create a Project, there is an option to add your
friends list to a Project.
-
You have to wait for your friend to accept joining.
How can other Priders join a Project Team?
-
Other Priders (not on your friends list) also can request to
join a role in your Project, but only for an empty slot.
-
To Edit Project Team Member, go to Project Page, click on Edit
on Team session.
How to add Reward to a Project?
-
When creating a Project, you will be asked to add rewards on
the Reward Page.
-
You have to add a Title, Photo. In the description section,
you can describe a Project's reward.
-
You can set a range of donation amounts to unlock your Reward
features. Empowerers who contribute the specified minimum
amount will gain access to exclusive content in the Update
News section.
-
Example: $2 and above, users can gain access to exclusive
content in the Update News section. $10 and above, users can
gain a 20% discount with the priority to buy your product or
service.
-
The estimated delivery date for a reward is the date by which
you expect to deliver that reward to Empowerer. If you're
offering more than one thing in a single reward tier, set your
estimated delivery date to when you expect everything in the
reward tier to be delivered.
-
Estimated delivery dates are mandatory for each reward tier,
so be sure to choose a time frame that you feel confident in
fulfilling.
-
UPride does not involve any part of reward committed by Project
Owner to Empowerers.
Why should I add a Community on Project?
-
A Project can be created without adding a Community. However,
when a Community is added to a Project, it undergoes a
scanning and approval process by the Community Founder. The
Founder of a big Community with a high reputation will instill
greater confidence in Empowerers to fund the Project.
What should I post on Updated News?
-
Anything and everything that relates to your project! Some
Project Owner may post an update every day, some may post more
sporadically. However, it is our expectation that creators
will post at least one new update a week once funding is
finished. Posting regular updates is the best way to keep
Empowerers informed of a project's progress.
Who has authority to post or remove posts on Updated News?
-
Only Project Owner and team members can post on Updated News
tab.
-
Only Project Owner has the right to remove post.
What is the End & Release date?
-
The "End date" is the final day of the fundraising period.
After that date, users can no longer fund the project. If the
project has not received 100% of the funds by the end date
(even 99% funded), the funded amount will be returned to the
users.
-
The "Release date" is the day when the product or service is
officially launched.

-
1. Click on the “Menu” button, located in the top-right corner
of the project page.
-

-
Canceling a project does not remove it from UPride. Projects
can not be deleted.
-
Canceling a project is not reversible. If you decide you want
to relaunch the project, you'll need to build a new one from
scratch and submit it to us for review.
-
Once a project is canceled, it can no longer be edited. If
there are changes you’d like to make we recommend completing
these before canceling the project.

I have not received my Reward yet?
-
When a Project Owner sets an estimated delivery date for their
rewards on UPride, it's just a goal to work towards, not a
guarantee. To check the estimated delivery date and reward
status, visit the Reward Tab and the Updated News section on
the Project page. If there haven't been any updates in a

Project Owner or posting a comment on their Update News.

are friend), or

Posting a comment on their Update News.
What happens when a project is overfunded?
-
When a Project is overfunded by UPride, the extra money is
often used to produce and distribute more Rewards.
-
Sometimes when a project is overfunded, it lets the Project
Owner put that money back into the project to create something
better for the Project Owner and themselves. More Popuplar
photos on an album, additional creation, better materials
quality, etc.
-
Any funds raised beyond the goal will help the creator to
cover any manufacturing or shipping costs related to their
add-ons.
-
In some case, Project Owners may make a profit from their
Project. This extra money can help them invest in their
personal lives to improve themselves and create even better
projects. For example, they might use profits to buy better
makeup, go to the gym to get in better shape, or invest in
higher quality clothing.
A project has ended but I’d still like to empower to it, is this
possible?
-
If you miss the deadline to fund a project on UPride, you can
not fund it afterwards.
-
You can try contacting the Project Owner directly to see if
there are other ways to support the project. If you fund on a
separate site, there is no record of your transaction with
UPride, so you won't be recognized as an Empowerer.
While a project is live on UPride, the following can be edited:
